A grandson of immigrants, WM Lobko grew up in Buffalo suburbia before heading west for a spell to Oregon, where he earned his MFA at the University of Oregon.

A brother to a Navy veteran who committed suicide, he orbits that fact in his poetry, most especially in his manuscript His Arms In This Sad Knot.

Returned now to New York, he lives and works in the Hudson Valley with his wife & their pup Alyosha.
